Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-10-25

These terms are an agreement between you and [Legal name] (trading as Grower Platform), [Registered address] ("we", "us"). By creating an account or continuing to use Grower Platform (the "Service"), you accept these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. The Service

Grower Platform helps you plan, produce and review organic social media content. It uses third-party artificial intelligence (currently OpenAI) to generate suggestions and to search public web sources. You post content yourself; we never post on your behalf.

2. Your account

You must give accurate information, keep your password secure and be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at [Contact email] if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Payment and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payments are also subject to Paddle's buyer terms.

Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or yearly depending on the plan you choose, after any free trial of 14 days, and renew automatically until cancelled. Free trials are limited to one per customer; if you have had a trial or subscription before, billing starts immediately. If you switch from monthly to yearly, you're charged the yearly price straight away, minus a credit for the unused part of your current month. During a free trial, AI usage has a lower allowance than on the paid plan. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Manage billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Prices and applicable taxes are shown at checkout. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing period. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

On the Own-key plan, AI features run on your own OpenAI API key. You pay us the plan price for the software and pay OpenAI directly for AI usage, and you are responsible for those charges and for keeping your key valid. You can switch between plans from Settings; changes are charged or credited pro rata straight away.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • break any law or any platform's rules, including rules on spam, multiple accounts, automation and disclosure of AI-generated content;
  • create fake reviews, testimonials, statistics, endorsements or impersonations, or otherwise deceive people;
  • send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, or commit fraud;
  • infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
  • generate content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, or that promotes violence;
  • interfere with the Service's security, including malware, probing, scanning, scraping, or circumventing usage limits.

5. AI-generated output

Output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete or similar to output given to others. Review everything before you publish it. You are responsible for what you post and for complying with the rules of each platform you post on. Audience research links to public pages we did not write; we don't control or endorse them. We make no promise about views, followers, signups or revenue.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of what you enter and, to the extent the law allows, of the output generated for you. You give us a limited licence to process your content only to provide the Service. To report content that infringes your rights or breaks these terms, email [Contact email] and we will review and remove it where appropriate.

7. Our property

We own the Service, including its software, design and branding. These terms don't give you any rights to it beyond using the Service as described.

8. Availability

We work to keep the Service running, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at any particular time. We may apply fair-use limits on AI usage, as described on the pricing page, and may change or discontinue features.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your account if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly commit serious violations. Where reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. You can delete your account from Settings after confirming your password, or contact us for help. Deletion cancels your subscription immediately and ends access. If subscription cancellation cannot be confirmed, the app keeps your account available to retry or contact support. Account deletion does not automatically issue a refund; the refund policy and your statutory rights still apply.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. For material changes we'll notify you by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Governing law, e.g. England and Wales]. If you're a consumer, you keep any protections of the law of the country where you live.
